5KM BABY TRAIL RUN Towards ZERO WASTE!

The 5KM Baby Trail Run towards Zero-Waste is an environmental protection and healthy lifestyle campaign initiated by Sulig Organics that advocates environmental protection and preservation and ensuring zero-waste practices anchored on the principles of reuse, reduce, and recycle. It is located at Km 2, Barangay Washington, Surigao City. The event also aims to promote the importance of physical activities like walking and running outdoors in order to attain a functional lifestyle among Surigaonons. The goal is to have a sustainable way of living that LOWERS THE RISK of being seriously ill or dying early. Truly, health is wealth. Lush green hills, newly-harvested rice paddies, root crops plantation, and refreshing sea to summit view await for the registered runners! The Barangay Local Government Unit of Cagniog and Barrcamp Surigao will ensure the smooth flow of the trail race event. NOTE: Every participant must bring her/his personal hydration bottle for hydration in order to minimize trash and garbage all throughout the event.
