CESAFI SEASON 25 FUN RUN

𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐈 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍 25 𝐅𝐔𝐍 𝐑𝐔𝐍 The Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) will hold a fun run as part of the celebration of its 25th anniversary on September 9, 2025, at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC). Alumni, students, teachers, and faculty members from #CESAFI member schools can participate in the event. Participants can choose between the 3-kilometer, 7-kilometer, and 15-kilometer categories. The gun start is at 4:30 AM, beginning at the exit gate of CCSC. For the full route of the fun run, the first stretch will traverse P. Del Rosario and Osmeña Blvd. Runners will turn left onto P. Del Rosario Street upon exiting the CCSC, passing City Central School Elementary. They will then turn right onto Osmeña Blvd. and continue straight, passing by the Social Security System (SSS) building. The runners will make a U-turn near the new campus of the University of Cebu (UC) then going straight to Fuente Osmeña. From Fuente, the runners will turn right onto Mango Avenue, passing the San Carlos School Of Cebu. They will then make a left turn onto Gorordo Avenue, passing by the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO). Runners will continue straight along Gorordo Avenue, passing by the University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu. Once the runners reach JY Square in Barangay Lahug, they will turn right, passing the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), then continue straight towards Barangay Mabolo, where they will pass by the San Carlos Seminary, Carmelite Monastery, and Toyota Mabolo. A U-turn point will be marked near the area. Runners will then head back, retracing the same route and finishing at the CCSC. Turning points will also be indicated for the 3-kilometer and 7-kilometer categories. Assembly time is at 4:00 AM. Warm-ups will also be conducted at the CCSC. Finishers will receive a medal; however, no champions will be crowned for any category. Those who wish to participate in the run can contact the athletic director of their respective schools to join.
